Pete Smith is an Anne Arundel County Councilman representing District 1, currently serving his third non-consecutive term. As a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with 27 years of service and experience as a defense budget manager/comptroller, he emphasizes public safety, school funding, and veteran affairs.
